Anthony Owen: Writer
Anthony is considered one of the UK's most prolific and influential writers on magic and television. He wrote The Monster Book of Magic a 250 page book for budding young magicians (published by Robinson Children's Publishing, 1998) and a series of introductory magic books which were published in the UK and Germany (Arcturus Publishing, 1994). He has also written articles on magic for the British press, including a feature for The Sunday Times magazine.

He has written and edited over twenty books for magicians (including the annual Magicians' Yearbook, the directory for UK magicians) and from August 1998 until June 2002 Anthony was editor of The Magic Circular, the monthly magazine of The Magic Circle.

He has also contributed articles, columns and features to magic magazines around the world. As a result of this he won an 'Award of Outstanding Merit' from the International Brotherhood of Magicians for his "outstanding effort and unselfish donation of talent for the betterment of the art of magic".
